Decorative Wishes, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in January 2008 located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Our vision is to provide an environment that is tailored to meet the physical, emotional and social developmental needs of each individual. Life is full of challenges whether physical, emotional or socially. One of the most rewarding but most difficult paths to take is inner change. We encourage a healthy well being and one to imagine "what can be" by designing their vision into a reality.
All activities are conducted in Dekalb and Gwinnett County
Our Programs:
1) Design A Dream: Various professionals team up with Decorative Wishes to transform private spaces for individuals with limited abilities. The overall objective is to encourage a healthy well being, and provide enlightenment of the spirit.
Color: Colors have a strong effect on mind and body. They have been proven to increase amino acid levels that influence sleep, migraine, immunity, and moods. It also reduces irritability, and eliminates chronic fatigue. Medical studies show that some of the following disorders are treatable with colors: Asthma, paralysis,physical debilitation, mental illness, hypertension physical debilitation, mental illnesses, hypertension and emotional distress etc...
Light: Fills one's life with happiness and joy. Sunlight kills germs and bacteria as it passes through windows, reduces depression, and also provides essential vitamin D. Hospitals that are well sunlit have fewer bacteria and the patients recover faster. Studies indicate that sunlight strengthens and lifts our spirits.
Music: Music is a universal language that influences all levels of human nature. Selected music can decrease stress, anxiety, and pain. It is also capable of improving happiness, peace, health, and concentration.
The program allocates an estimated 25% of the organization's time, and is funded through donations and grants.
2) Going Places: Individuals who have received a room transformation by Decorative Wishes will share their personal testimony. They are also encouraged to volunteer on the design team assisting with future projects implemented for those who await their decorative wish to be granted. 3) Mentorship: Participants in the mentorship program explore behind the scenes and careers of various professionals that has partnered with Decorative Wishes, Inc. The program will launch in July 2010. The program will be funded through donations and grants.
Staff: Decorative Wishes, Inc. has a staff of 10 dedicated members who have over ten years of professional experience in various backgrounds which include: Child Psychology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Education, Business Management and Cultural Arts.
